Step 1: Login to your account on the incometaxefiling portal. Once logged in, click on “My Account” tab & from the drop down menu, select “e-Verify Return” option.
Step 2: You will see the list of ITR(s) filed as shown in the screen below. Click on the “e-Verify” option at the extreme top-right on the screen.
Step 3: From the options, select Option 2. A box will be displayed & from there select “EVC - Through Net Banking”.
Step 4: Once you select the Net Banking option, the steps for e verification using net banking will be shown on your screen. Read the steps & then click on the “Continue” option.
You will be redirected to the screen where a list of all the banks approved by the Income Tax Department for e-verification will be displayed. From here, click on “Yes Bank Ltd”.
Step 5: As you select the bank, a Disclaimer screen will appear, from there click on the “Continue” option. You will be taken to the log-in screen of Yes Bank.
Step 6: At the Yes Bank login page, enter your Login ID and Password, after which click on the Login button.
Step 7: After login, a request panel will be seen on the left hand side of the screen, from there; click on the 5th option “Login to Income Tax E-Filing”. You will be redirected to another page, where by clicking on the “Submit” button you will be accepting the Terms and Conditions of the bank. .
Step 8: Now you are redirected and logged into your account on the Income Tax efiling website. There, under the “My Account” tab select the “e-Verify Return” option.
Step 9: A new next screen will be displayed, click on the “e-Verify” option. A screen-blocker will appear asking for your confirmation to e verify return, here click on the “Continue” button.
Step 10: Congratulations! Your ITR is now successfully e-verified & the message will be shown in the screen below.
